For those who didn’t know, the past 2 years we’ve been working on a brand-new facility in Union Township! This place will be bigger and better—offering year-round play with more courts, more amenities, and an even more electric atmosphere for you to enjoy. But if you played with us last year, we updated you with the struggles that delayed us from breaking ground in 2023 and in 2024.

 Construction was scheduled to start back in August of 2023 

 Township personnel changes delayed road design and construction, and didn’t start until August 2024 and finished in late September.

 Late October 2024, the sewer was scheduled to start along with other necessary utilities and all permits were approved through the Township. This was completed in December. 

 We filed County permits in November, but due to holidays, our plans took a very long time to be reviewed. 

 Mid January 2025, we finally received reviews back for the permits, most of which were denied and needed updates. 

 Our general contractor, who had been by our side from the start, unexpectedly became unreachable (we later found out he had passed away). Then, one of our main engineers who is needed for our plan updates was injured on vacation and he was out of the country. So, between flying home and multiple surgeries, the days and weeks just kept slipping away.  It honestly felt like everything that could go wrong, did.

 In the beginning of January 2025, Ted Karras stepped up and offered to take on this project with his company, Paradigm Construction!! It looked like we might be able to get outdoor courts open in time for Spring!

 The County has still not approved certain permits and we are working through getting their last requirements met.

 But if you know us, you know that we love Jesus and trust in His plan! As hard as this process has been, we believe God is working all things out for our good, and we are more determined than ever to get this new facility up and running for you. But due to the timeline, we don’t want you to miss out on any sessions. So here’s the plan! Even though we moved everything out of the US 50 location, we’ve reached out to the new owner and asked if we can return—just for this year—so we can open up for you in time for the Spring Session.
